1. Information we collect
When you use Murim Codex, we may store your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar, together with your game profile, inventory, progression, activity timers, market activity and moderation-relevant records.
2. How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, maintain persistent progress, operate game systems, prevent abuse, process rewards, provide support and improve reliability.
3. Discord login and sessions
The web application uses Discord OAuth to confirm your identity. A signed session cookie keeps you logged in. We do not receive or store your Discord password.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by an external payment provider. Murim Codex receives transaction identifiers and fulfillment details needed to deliver purchases, but does not store complete payment-card information.
5. Storage and sharing
Game data is stored in our database and may be processed by hosting, database, Discord and payment providers strictly as needed to operate the service. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention
We retain game and account records while they are needed to provide Murim Codex, preserve game integrity, resolve transactions or meet legal obligations. Data may remain in backups for a limited period.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect stored information. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against every incident.
8. Advertising
Murim Codex uses Google AdSense in clearly labeled advertising spaces on the public and authenticated web application. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, measure and limit advertising. Where required, consent and privacy choices will be presented before personalized advertising is used.
9. Your choices
You may log out of the web application at any time. Requests concerning access, correction or deletion of your Murim Codex data can be made through our support page, subject to legal and game-integrity requirements.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Policy when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest published version.
